The programme consists of four modules:
Module 1: Checking the mobile crane, keeping maintenance records, and scheduling maintenance
Credit: 1 ECTS
Module Description: Covers daily inspections, maintenance schedules, defect identification, and record-keeping to ensure safe crane operation.
Learning Outcomes:
Conduct daily inspections and functional tests.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and schedule preventive maintenance.
Identify issues and coordinate with technicians.
Follow safety protocols and regulations.
Module 2: Drawing and preparing a lift plan
Credit: 1 ECTS
Module Description: Teaches creation of comprehensive lift plans, including hazard identification, equipment selection, and risk mitigation.
Learning Outcomes:
Assess lift requirements and select appropriate equipment.
Develop and document lift plans.
Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders.
Adjust plans based on changing conditions.
Module 3: Setting up and demounting a mobile crane
Credit: 1 ECTS
Module Description: Covers safe setup and demounting procedures, site assessment, crane assembly/disassembly, and compliance with safety standards.
Learning Outcomes:
Select appropriate sites and plan setup/demount.
Perform pre-operational checks.
Assemble/disassemble cranes efficiently and safely.
Maintain records and ensure personnel safety.
Module 4: Carrying out a lifting operation using a mobile crane
Credit: 1 ECTS
Module Description: Focuses on advanced lifting operations, including risk assessment, crane configuration, rigging, and safe load handling.

Plan and execute safe lifting operations.
Apply stability and balance principles.
Communicate effectively with the lifting team.
