MQF Level 2 Award in Understanding Health & Safety or equivalent.

Overall Programme Description:
This programme equips learners with the essential skills and knowledge to assist in bar bending and steel fixing operations. Participants will gain an understanding of steel reinforcement principles, construction drawings, reinforcement materials, and safe work practices.
The course covers the handling, cutting, and placement of reinforcement bars, proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment, quality control procedures, teamwork, problem-solving, and adherence to professional and ethical standards. Participants will learn to work safely and efficiently on construction sites while contributing to structural integrity and compliance.
