Entry Requirements:
Ability to read and write in English.
Minimum age: 18 years.
Health certificate confirming physical fitness and suitability for manual handling, issued by a General Practitioner.
Basic language skills in the language of instruction.
Overall Programme Description:
This programme provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills to carry out manual handling tasks safely and efficiently. Participants will learn to identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, apply proper lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling techniques, and use equipment and aids effectively. The course emphasizes ergonomics, personal protective equipment (PPE), teamwork, and communication, preparing participants to reduce injury risks and improve workplace safety.
